Training for Life, a Tanzanian initiative, provides select youth with practical education to become servant leaders, bridging the gap between academia and the real world to benefit their communities and Tanzania.
TFL, funded by student fees and public donations, enhances personal skills, emphasizing entrepreneurial servant leadership, and concludes with a challenging ascent of Mount Meru or Mount Kilimanjaro.
Crucially, TFL fosters accountable leaders who prioritize servant leadership over dictatorship, benefiting their communities and the nation.
Any Tanzanian youth who has finished form 4 or form 6, who is not above 25 years, can join the appropriate program. There is a selection procedure whereby the applicants are selected based on their motivation, English language skills (written and spoken), and character.
